如某化肥廠發(fā)生特大爆炸事故，事故原因查明，是一起由閥門存在嚴(yán)重質(zhì)量問題造成的責(zé)任事故。爆炸原因是：兩段出口閥門承受不住正常工作壓力突然爆裂，止回閥失靈，系統(tǒng)內(nèi) 0.75MPa 的半水煤氣迅速溢出，與周圍空氣混合形成爆炸性氣體空間，發(fā)生氣體化學(xué)爆炸。據(jù)檢測(cè)該閥門有多項(xiàng)指標(biāo)不符合國家有關(guān)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。另外，這兩種均為以水、蒸汽和油類為介質(zhì)的閥門，非可燃?xì)怏w閥門，設(shè)計(jì)部門選型也是錯(cuò)誤的。因此，正確選擇閥門對(duì)裝置生產(chǎn)、安全、長周期運(yùn)行，提高效率都顯得非常重要。

選用閥門的原則

可靠性

石油化工生產(chǎn)要求連續(xù)、平穩(wěn)、長周期運(yùn)行。因此，要求采用的閥門應(yīng)有高的可靠性，安全系數(shù)大，不能因?yàn)殚y門故障造成重大生產(chǎn)安全及傷亡事故；滿足裝置長周期運(yùn)行的要求，長周期連續(xù)生產(chǎn)就是效益；另外，減少或避免由于閥門引起的“跑、冒、滴、漏”，創(chuàng)建清潔、文明工廠、推行 HSE 管理。

滿足工藝生產(chǎn)要求

閥門應(yīng)滿足操作介質(zhì)、壓力溫度及用途需要，這也是閥門選用基本的要求。例如需要閥門起超壓保護(hù)作用，排放多余介質(zhì)的，應(yīng)選用安全閥、溢流閥；需要防止操作過程中介質(zhì)回流的，應(yīng)采用止回閥；需要自動(dòng)排出蒸汽管道和設(shè)備中不斷產(chǎn)生的冷凝水、空氣及其他不可冷凝性氣體，同時(shí)又要阻止蒸汽逸出，應(yīng)選用疏水閥。另外，對(duì)有腐蝕介質(zhì)，應(yīng)選用耐腐蝕材料閥體等。

操作、安裝、檢修維修方便

閥門安全好后，應(yīng)能使操作人員正確識(shí)別閥門方向、開度標(biāo)志、指示信號(hào)，便于及時(shí)果斷地處理各種應(yīng)急故障。同時(shí)，所選閥門類型結(jié)構(gòu)應(yīng)盡量簡單，安裝和檢修維修方便。
